How to register a private entrepreneurahip?

First step – is to register a private entrepreneur to the state registrar.

What is needed for business registration?

1 A copy of the passport.

2 A copy of the identification number.

3 Form №10 – Registration card on the state registration of individual entrepreneur (filling – name, tax id, types of economic  activities(КВЕД) ).

4 Receipt (state duty) for state registration – the registration fee is canceled.

Second step – is to obtain extracts from the state register (a document certifying that you – the entrepreneur).

What you need to obtain extracts?

1 Passport.

Third step – it is necessary to determine the tax system on which you conduct business. After the state registration of all entrepreneurs are the payers of income tax from natural persons at the rate of 18% of the profits (see the taxation below). Choosing the simplified taxation system of 1, 2, 3 groups must be made ​​within 10 days after the registration of the IE by coming to the tax office of certain district, and (after consultation with the inspector) to write an application.

Documents needed:

1 A copy of the passport.

2 A copy of the tax number.

3 A copy of the extract.

4 The application to transfer you, as an entrepreneur, to a simplified taxation system (considered within 5 working days).

5 The application for the registration books of revenues and expenses (considering over 10 w.d).

6 Book of income and expenditure for the entrepreneurs who have chosen a simplified taxation system of 1,2,3 groups.

Fourth step – in 3 working days after the application of the simplified system of taxation is satisfied and you are registered as payer of the unified tax, you should come to the tax office (fiscal services) and write the corresponding application for extract from the Register of payers of the unified tax.

Fifth step – in 2-10 working days return to the tax office (fiscal service) and pick up:

1 Extract on the status of a unified tax payer.

2 The Book of income and expenditure.

3 Current accounts and schedule of payment of taxes and contributions.

Sixth step – obtaining a stamp (if necessary). Why do you need stamp?

Eighth step – in connection with the transition of accounting and tax reports in a fully electronic format, you also need to get certified electronic keys and conclude relevant agreements with tax authorities, pension fund and state statistics.

Taxation of PE/IE from 1 January 2022.

Unified tax

1 The first group of the unified tax for individual entrepreneurs:

Restrictions:

  • The amount of income: no more than 1 million 085 thousand 500 UAH per year;
  • wage-labor is eliminated.

Allows operation only in the following activities:

  • Retail sale of goods to trade places in the markets;
  • Provision of services to the population's household.

The rate of unified tax: 1-10% of the   the minimum wage. At the beginning of 2022 the minimum wage is 2481 UAH. Ten percent  - 248.10 UAH.

Entrepreneur in this group makes the following payments:

Unified tax= to 248.10 UAH.

Unified social fee = 1430.00 UAH.

2 The second group of the unified tax for individual entrepreneurs:

Restrictions:

  • The amount of income: no more than UAH 5 million 421 thousand per year..

Allows operation only in the following activities:

  • Provision of services to a unified taxpayer and the population;
  • Produce and / or sell goods at retail or wholesale to all market participants.

Economic activity in the field of restaurant business is allowed.

Wage-labor – up to 10 persons at a time.

The rate of unified tax: 2-20%. At the beginning of 2022 the minimum wage in 2481 UAH. Twenty percent - is 482.00 UAH.

T Entrepreneur in this group makes the following payments:

Unified tax = to 482.00 UAH.

Unified social fee = 1430.00 UAH.

3 The third group of the unified tax for individual entrepreneurs:

Restrictions:

  • Revenues must not exceed 7 million 585 thousand 500 UAH per year.
  • Type of activity: all except banned for a simplified system.

Wage-labor: unlimited.

The rate of unified tax is 3% of revenue for VAT payers or 5% of revenue for non-payers of VAT.

General taxation system (tax on income of physical persons)

For private entrepreneurs – from 01.01.16 implies the payment of tax in the amount of 18% of the tax base of the enterprise. The basis of taxation IE/PE is inequality between income and expenses, ie. – profit. The rate of 15% applies for profits up to 10 times the minimum wage (on 01.01.2022 – 2481 UAH.). With revenue of more than 10 minimum wages – tax rate is 18%.

If during the reporting period, the entrepreneur has not received profit or ceases operations, the amount of mandatory payments paid in advance should be recalculation. The amount overpaid payments may be credited for future payments (on the application), or be returned no later than one month after the final calculation.
